Class of 2018
High School Registration Calendar

Fitnessgram Reports
Students enrolled in Physical Education this semester recently completed the Fall Health Fitness Assessment (Fitnessgram). The results from the assessment will accompany your child’s interim report on Weds 12/11/13. Please review the scores with your child and use the attached “Get Fit Exercises” to help your child either maintain or improve their fitness levels. Fitnessgram will be repeated in the Spring, which will allow students to assess their improvements.
We hope that reading the scores and comments will give you and your child healthful information. For more information, please visit the OMMS Physical Education website at http://ommspe.weebly.com/. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Hlavka or Ms. Procida at 410-313-6937, or by email at Timothy_Hlavka@hcpss.org or Davia_Procida@hcpss.org. Have an active and healthy school year!

Music in the Parks Info
The Music in the Parks Payment Plan and Itinerary have been distributed to all Band, Chorus, and Orchestra Members as of Thurs 12/5/13.  The first payment is due on or before Fri 1/10/14.  Payment must be made in the form of a check/money order written to "OMMS".  Students have been informed of the profit earned from the Gianni's Fund-Raiser, which will diminish the individual cost of their trip.  Additional paperwork can be located on Mrs. Reichl's website.

Giant A+ School Rewards Program
Now through Thurs 3/20/14, OMMS has the opportunity to earn cash through Giant A+ School Rewards Program.  All you have to do is log on to www.giantfood.com/aplus to register online using your Giant Card.
After you register your card, each shopping trip at Giant using your Giant Card earns CASH for our school!  Each month, the amount of CASH awarded will be updated on the Giant website. You can track the amount of points you earn for our school by checking your grocery receipt and online when you create an account at www.giantfood.com. Our school will receive a check at the end of the program. The money can be used for any of our school’s educational needs.
Remember, even if you registered your card last year, you must re-register this year for our school to receive credit. Registration is easy makes a HUGE difference to our school. We need your support. Please be sure to register your card to benefit Oakland Mills Middle School using ID #01024.  Also, don’t forget to encourage your friends and relatives to do the same.  It could mean the world to our students.
*Phone numbers may not be used to designate.  If you do not know your 12-digit GIANT CARD number, call the Card Hotline at 1-877-366-2668 and select OPTION #2
