Calling all 8th grade students and families! We are excited to introduce you to basic information about high school as you prepare to enter 9th grade.

Mobile phones can be brought to school but must remain off or silent and completely out of view for the entire school day.

We were awarded the attached 2020-2021 Badges of Success from PBIS Maryland

Every year HCPSS parents must complete a Family File for each child. HCPSS utilizes Family File for parents/guardians to complete emergency information. All parents/guardians, including newly registered students must complete the Family File to ensure HCPSS has the most current information for each child.

All 7th and 8th grade students are invited to attend the 7/8 Orientation on Thursday, August 26th from 1pm-2pm.

Reminder to parents of incoming 7th grade students: All children must have the required State of Maryland immunizations in order to attend school, including in districts utilizing virtual instruction. The following are required by the state of Maryland for all students entering Grade 7.

HCPSS will be serving FREE Grab-and-Go meals to students and any children aged 18 and under on Mondays and Thursdays, June 21 – August 13.
