National History Day

7th-grade students at OMMS will bring history to life through the National History Day (NHD) program! This year's theme, Rights & Responsibilities in History, invites students to explore the past through projects like exhibits, documentaries, or performances, showcasing their research and creativity. Participants develop valuable skills and may advance to higher-level competitions--let's make history together!

School Spelling Bee

On January 23rd, we are holding the annualschool Spelling Bee, where the top spellers at Oakland Mills will be competingto take home the prize AND to represent our school at the County Spelling Bee.Wish our contestants luck! We have six 6th graders, eight 7th graders,and ten 8th graders competing this year - who will be victorious?
