Oakland Mills Middle School is proud to partner with the American Heart Association to help fight heart disease through Hoops for Heart. Hoops for Heart is a fundraising program that gives students the ability to make a difference in the community by raising money for the American Heart Association and teaching others about healthy living habits. The program will end with an exciting basketball event that will take place on March 10, 2017, during our quarterly Falcon Holiday celebration. Students will have the option of participating in a three on three basketball game, participating by watching the games, or not participating at all (and choosing an alternate Falcon Holiday activity). A permission slip for voluntary participation and donation information will be coming home soon. We look forward to another successful Hoops for Heart event as our school helps fight heart disease!
