RIGOR ACTION STEPS:

*Use multiple measures & collaborate w/ elem and middle school staff to identify students who are ready to be accelerated to above level or G/T with support

*Use OMMS created walk through to observe rigor in question type, response rate, and level of discussion

*Provide professional learning strands on rigor

 

PERFORMANCE ACTION STEPS:

  • Use multiple measures & collaborate w/ middle school staff to identify students who are ready to be accelerated to above level or G/T with support or who need support through interventions to succeed
  • Use content planning time for CFIP and shared grading and assessment for SLOs and instruction
  • Provide professional learning strands on rigor

 

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT ACTION STEPS:

*Utilize Student Engagement Team for school climate, spirit and principal’s advisory to add student voice

*Implement Restorative Circles for target students

*Share school PBIS data quarterly and provide PBIS prof learning

*Implement a Growing Strong Strengths program with focus on Name and Claim

 

STAFF ENGAGEMENT ACTION STEPS:

*Utilize leadership retreats and Positive Climate Committee to continue to build positive, engaged staff members

 *Implement a Growing Strong Strengths program with focus on Name and Claim

*Provide University Professional Learning to differentiate staff growth

*Implement “Play of the Week” and gratitude board to highlight staff

Areas For Focused improvement

 

RIGOR TARGETS:  (1) Increase academic rigor in all classes by using Depth of Knowledge Wheel to plan rigorous objectives and lessons, (2) Increase the rigor of class discussions through use of Wait Time, higher level questions, and active student and student-to-student participation, (3) Increase student access to above level math classes and to G/T ELA and Math classes by 3-5%.

PERFORMANCE TARGET: (1) Increase the number of students who meet and exceed end of year MAP benchmarks by 3-5%

STUDENT ENGAGEMENT: (1) Increase student engagement mean by .2.
